Figure skating is undoubtedly where most of my time has gone. Starting at the (what many would consider late) age of 8, I competed for the first time in late 2019, with all competitions ending at the beginning of COVID-19. I began competing again in mid-2021, with only double jumps, with no fame or recognition. In 2023, I landed all my triple jumps (which an estimate of roughly 1% of figure skaters can do), boosting my name nationally and internationally among the figure skating community. In 2024, I placed well enough to make the National Development Team, and in 2025, I made the US National Team (or Team USA). My journey to Team USA involved the support of my coaching team, parents, friends, and entire rink staff. To give to the next generation, I serve as a volunteer coach at my home rink as well as an advocate invited to speak in the city council for the opening of a new rink.
